commitment

so there i was in the bath tub (when i was supposed to be hard at work writing application letters, tweaking CVs and sending them off like mad) trying to collect my thoughts about phrases that could be useful in my job applications, when in the corner of my eye i spotted a book that i left unfinished for a few months now on the cabinet. the title COMMITTED jumped right out at me. i smirked and thought, "that's the last word that would describe me". i even can't commit to finish reading the damn book. suddenly my thoughts ran wild talking to itself, creating a journal entry on the spot. gawd i wish there's some kind of a recorder that would record my thoughts word for word because it sounded like it could win me a writer's award.

here's one idea... telepathic tweets! you tweet thoughts without having to physically do anything!

*le sigh* there i go again... i guess my procrastinating problem is bigger than i thought that i can even procrastinate during a procrastination session.

so where were we... ahhh yes... commitment... or to be more precise, lack thereof... thinking back, i've never really committed to ANYTHING in my life. the simplest example, i remember after my first trip, i've always been dying to live forever in ANY city or town in Japan. yet, when i arrived in Aichi, all i wanted to do is run away to Tokyo!

now that i'm in Tokyo, I LOVE IT!! out of ALL the places i've visited or lived in, Tokyo is the only one i've ever been genuinely content in. in fact, the only qualm i have is how to stay here FOREVER! but i wonder... after one year, will i still feel the same way?
