heavy heart
i was fighting a constant battle trying to keep my tears from flowing freely from the second i woke up.
the journey to the airport, the transit, the flights, even what was meant to be a short relaxing holiday in between all became unbearable.
having been surrounded by my good friends constantly for the past three months, loneliness starts to seep in as the day i leave the country i feel is my true home, closed in and inevitably arrived.
my chest throbbed, tears flowed constantly and continuously, leaving a heavy sensation of sorrow.
i wake up to an empty room in my apartment in Melbourne trying to adjust back to a new lonesome life.
