careless whispers
My blog has become a whisper. I plan to start over. Not sure if I should continue this handle or just create a new persona on a different site all together... I guess it doesn't seem right to neglect the trail of incriminating details left behind here.
I feel like it has gone back to what it was before. My little corner that I whisper into. I like it that way. Part exhibitionist, part breadcrumb trail, all journal.
Though I must confess, for a while now, i feel like I'm re-learning how to write. How to put ideas together and make it form a logical statement. How to express how I feel inside without losing focus, because there's so much to say, and everything demands a voice, and the voice gets diluted in the cacophony of the swirling thoughts.
Didn't somebody famous say something about the tyranny of the menial and the banal? My thoughts are like that -- nothing is really important enough, but they all demand a voice. It's like a dos attack, only it's inside my brain. And maybe that's why blogging is so good; you can afford to write on one thing, then move onto a completely irrelevant topic, then go somewhere else. The perfect solution for someone like me with an attention span of just a few seconds.
I take back what I said about blogging being short. This post alone most likely exceeds the few-secs attention span.
The status report overall is simple... I'm fairly happy. Life is chaotic, yet somewhat exciting at the same time.
The world around is constantly changing, but that isn't new. I welcome the chaos with a new sense of security in myself and my choices. Things were never perfect. Always held together with a thin thread of optimism.
