twenty-six
i'll build on this entry as the day goes by. twenty five was technically my "golden year". in retrospect i can say it was. in one circuit of the sun i had traveled an intricate road of different emotions and opportunities. career wise i had done everything i've wanted to. emotionally i saw hell and flew to heaven.
twenty five was a turning point for me. i found myself braver than i imagined possible. it will remain to be seen where it is i am headed, but i am confident with my decision. i chose a rough road and i don't feel i could travel any other way. i see the pit falls ahead of me and i hope i am ready. luck favors the prepared mind after all.
on the morbid tip, it is obvious to me that the world is falling to shit in a plastic shopping bag. the majority seems just fine with it, smiling and polishing the titanic as it sinks. i see the road ahead and figure i can only do what i can. there's almost no choice in that matter. in the end of the day you can only be true to yourself. how did i end up on that? anyways.
in twenty six times around the sun i've been fortunate to meet some amazing amazing people. without all of you, twenty six times around the sun would suck terribly. everyone, and i mean everyone makes all of it worth while. i can't say enough 'thank yous' to ever convey my deep gratitude for everything.
life is amazing.

just re-read all my previous birthday posts... i don't know if i should be disgusted or relieved to see that my birthday message is so consistent every year. i'm either being honest or just unoriginal, ha!
...and suddenly in one night I gained the ability to: act calm and collected and to never laugh at inappropriate moments; want millions of children; am being kind to people; love sappy love songs; stopped wasting time, watching anime and reading manga; and know how to take responsibility...
HAHaha, WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER! still... I'm so old now. Wo-hoom!! Wo-hoom!!
Well, since I'm 2 decades and six years old now, I should work on my Poker face and STOP BLURTING OUT WHAT'S IN MY HEAD IMMEDIATELY! I'm an adult now. It's time I put on the adult face. ADULT FACE! dammit, it would've been a much easier transition if I mastered the art of Asian Cool when I said I would. bu~uerns~.
And to everyone who decided it was a good idea to remind me of my aging process through shouts and messages, thank-you for making me exercise my old weary eyes and ears.
